Sparklerose Jewellery + Eyeko Nailpolishes

I got my sparkly beads out the other day and created this little beauty. It's a summery version of my Mauve Elegance Charm Bracelet, which featured mauve roses and delicate pink beads, and proved quite popular around the wintery months.

I'm thinking I should call it something summery :) any suggestions?

I'm slowly beginning to make new pieces for an Etsy store I'm in the process of creating, so I'm using bits of free time to get some stock together. Adrian is working late tonight, so I'm pottering around the flat getting little jobs done, hopefully some more jewellery will get made ;)

On another note, I took advantage of the Eyeko deal on Groupon the other day, which was a £20 voucher for just £8. I noticed the deal mentioned by Charlene at Dainty Dresses, and I quickly jumped at the chance to grab one of these vouchers, as I've been after some of their nailpolishes for a while.

I've heard so many great things about Eyeko nailpolishes, and seen so many lovely looking swatches too. My plan was to pick 4 nailpolish colours to fulfil the £20 voucher, making them a bargain at £2 each. But I'm totally spoilt for choice!

My faves are:

This looks like a really neutral tan in swatches I've seen.

This one looks like a greyish blue, also very neutral.
I love this colour, but I'm pretty sure I already have a colour similar...
I love the colour in the bottle, but wonder how easy it is to apply...
This is a gorgeous dark shade with red flecks of glitter, I really do love this, although it isn't practical for everyday use for me.
This is the perfect nude colour to me.
Two words: Pink, Glitter :D

Do you own any of these shades? Which one/ones would you pick? :)

Springtime Collection

Sorry, I've barely written anything in a while. My holiday got rather busy so I wasn't online that much.

However, I did manage to get a few items made, but I was focusing mainly on my charm bracelets. These items are from the new Springtime Collection, so expect lots of pastels and flowers ;)

Cupcakes & Elegant Sparkles Charm Bracelet - £14.00
Made with plenty of sparkle, this charm bracelet is perfect for those springtime days to come.

Spring Flowers Charm Bracelet - £14.00
This is a favourite piece of mine, based around the love of flowers.

Springtime Lilac Rose Earrings - £4.50
Adorable lilac clay roses with green Swarovski hearts, symbolic of a flowery garden.

These items are 'grab while you can' pieces, so if you were interested in something, please send me an email to sparklerosedesigns@live.co.uk. In the next week or so they'll be going to Milkwood Gallery after my success in selling there :) I popped over for a chat (and a naughty browse) last week. I'll be blogging about that soon :)

I'll also be announcing the giveaway winner in the next few days, so keep your eyes peeled :)

Hope everyone's having a good weekend so far!

Happy Valentine's Day

Hope everyone's having a lovely Valentine's Day so far. I had yummy breakfast in bed made by my wonderful boyfriend, complete with a red rose sitting on this month's cosmo, I'm a very lucky girl ;)

We're having a homemade three course meal this evening, he's made the starter and main, and I'm providing the dessert. I'm planning to make some marshmallow cupcakes as the main bit, with some bits of fruit etc for dipping into melted chocolate after. Yumyum. I shall try to remember pictures.

Here are some of the new pieces I mentioned in my previous post. My plan was to pop these to the boutique today but I'm deciding to wait a little while. I'm seemingly taking on alot lately, it's hard to keep up ;)

Garden Bird Of Paradise Charm Bracelet - On Hold

Dream In Cupcake Earrings - £5.00

Spring Showers Cupcake Charm Necklace - £6.00

I started creating my general packaging last night, for things that won't be boxed. It'll be ideal for the stall.

Isn't it cute? I love polkadots :D

If you're interested in the items above, please comment or send me an email to sparklerosedesigns@live.co.uk as they probably won't be listed on my Folksy store until after April (depending on what sells at the stall).

I'll be making another entry later today (before this evening) about my V-Day Giveaway! It's featuring some Sparklerose Designs jewellery, plus extra goodies.

First Folksy Sale!

I hope everyone had a delightful weekend :)
We had quite a relaxing one, on Saturday we went out for lunch then had a bit of a film evening. And I work on Sundays... boo :P

But I've officially had my first Folksy sale! I was so excited by this. I've sold items that I've supplied to Milkwood Gallery, and a few pieces online through friends, but getting my first Folksy sale is wonderful :)

It was a piece I didn't even show here because I listed the item and it sold a few hours later.

But I'll definitely be exploring different designs of this bracelet ;)

Secret Garden Tea Party Charm Bracelet

I also made the 'Key To My Heart' charm bracelet, pictured below, which inspired me to make something similar but with a different theme.

Key To My Heart Charm Bracelet

I've got a few different themes in mind, one of which I'll likely end up keeping myself (ahem, naughty) but at the moment I'm waiting on supplies.

I'm also slowly beginning to prepare myself for a stall I'm hoping to do at a local residential home. There's no rush, which is making me feel relaxed about it. Although it's quite scary, I've never done anything like it before. At the moment I'm just playing around with ideas, how to set up the table, what products I'll take with me, etc.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated :D

Next time I'll be writing about some gorgeous Forever21 necklaces I've eyed up ;)

Christmas Time :D

As you can probably tell, I'm still very busy. I'll be able to slow down a bit in January though :)

Yesterday I ventured to Meadowhall and bought a lovely lace dress in Debenhams, from the Henry Holland range. I'm hoping it's ideal for a christmas meal I'm going to in a few weeks. I just need some nice silver shoes and a silver bag :D

I haven't been online much looking at things but I'm going to share something super cute. It's called Sweet & Co.

They sell the cutest sweetest jewellery in different categories ranging from desserts to cupcakes. They're based overseas but they do ship to the UK :)

Here are some of my festive faves.

Bowtie Penguin & Candy Stick Lovely Swarovski Bracelet
This is super cute and christmassy, yet not typically christmas-based. I'd wear this all around the winter season due to the icy white colour scheme.

Sweet Glitter Mirror Cupcake Stud Earrings
These are not so festive, but they're adorable. They also come in a variety of colours, including red. However, I am a big fan of the blue ones :)

Glitter Present Dangle Earrings
Ah, I love these. Again, they make them in different colours. The pink is especially girly.

As mentioned in the previous entry, I'm planning a bit of a competition, yay! :D
I'm waiting to have 10 or more followers to start the fun. It'll involve 2 prizes, 2 winners.
So get inviting your friends/following this blog to be able to enter :)

Fiona x
